I told someone yesterday that if I had the extra $ I would have gone as high as $600, but even at that I would have been blown out of the water!

I have 2 of them

tough game I bid 888.88 yesterday and thought I might get it
looked this morning and got out bid buy 2 people I was out late picking up a journey
game and forgot to bid higher oh well I have 2 of them to look at

I was outbid as well. I would have actually gone that high if I could pick it up. But adding the shipping costs made it too much.

Grrrr.....

Well, I had a horse in the race and *was* the highest bidder for all of 5 seconds till I was sniped at the end of the auction. I was going that high because the condition of the games -especially that cpo! I was 'surprised' when I saw I was outbid. Never knew this game had a loyal fan base!

It was definitely a *new* guy that won it according to the bidder history. At least, I didn't go down w/out a fight! Let's hope he flakes when he sees the ending price!

Oh well, the search continues..... Did anybody get that one in New York C.L.?

Cool!
I have three sitting in storage, I guess I'll have to consider selling them.
On another note, there wasn't a shred of punctuation in the entire item description.

I'm interested if you let one go...

He was a very cordial individual through emails and calls.....

I thought it would sell for about $600. Probably got a nice bump from people posting about it here.. I remember playing it back in the 80's and not thinking much of it..

I *thought* it would go a little higher than that (800ish) cause the condition of the cab...

It was one I LOVED playing on the Colecovision! It was one of those games, like Looping for me, that I always wanted to obtain since I first starting vids (1990).....

I loved Colecovision Looping too, Coleco kicked some serious ass! I've got the arcade PCB but haven't tested it yet, fortunately they're not nearly as rare as Slither.

yup

Sounds like the logic of a *retailer*.....

there ya go thats it that is a great game and has been overlooked as a ton of games have
if you look at other guys that have warehouses full of games they have a lot of these
types of games because they were overlooked I had tons of those types back in the 90's
and sold them all off pretty cheap as I wanted to grow my route and needed the space and money since then just in the past 3-4 years I been back messing around with these
wierd types of games its fun

Agreed. I think I had one in the mid-90s and sold it off because it did nothing for me. I'll try to find some pictures from back then... if I remember correctly it worked but was in a pretty beat cabinet...
