And in less than 24 hours. And to a new member who just registered this morning. See, when you guys list things it can also bring new members to the site and that helps it grow and also helps all of us selling on the site. Curious to know if the buyer saw your promo here on KLOV or came through Google or somewhere else.
And your selling fees (well, if you weren't lucky enough to score a free seller membership) would have only been a flat 3% or $2.55. I was trying to see what this auction would have cost him on Ebay, but it's crazy to even see what it would have been - have you seen their fees page lately? Well, here it is in all its glory - http://pages.ebay.com/HELP/SELL/fees.html#auction Ok. Here is what I think he would have spent there:
Insertion Fee - $2.00
Photo Uploads (4 @ $.15) - $.60
Final Value Fee - $4.29
Total Fees - $6.89
And, perhaps this would have been considered a fixed price auction and in that case:
Insertion Fee - $.35
Photo Uploads - $.60
Final Value Fee (12% of the first $50 + 6% of the balance over $50) = $7.50
Total Fees - $8.45
God, I am confused!
And soon you can search by zip code as well as look at a map which will pinpoint where arcade games are for auction/sale by state and county. It's going to be great!
Have you taken delivery of the Timber yet? How was it? I have always wanted to play one of those, but never have yet. Oh ok, while we are doing this let's see what it cost him to sell you the Timber and what it would have cost on Ebay. I will try my best here:
Chuckwagon Fees for Selling Timber for $500 x 3% Selling Commission = $15 (well he had a free seller account too so it cost him nothing, actually).
On Ebay selling a $500 arcade would cost this much - Assuming a $500 Buy It Now:
Insertion Fee = $.35
Photos (3 @ .15) = $.45
Final Value Fee (12% of the initial $50 + 6% of the value over that) = $33
Total Ebay Fees = $33.80
