Just popped a G07 into a 48-in-1 I'm trying to sell. Fire it up, and I can hear the sizzling of high voltage. With the lights off I can see that it's arcing under the anode cup.
I figure it's dirty, and of course it's humid, so I clean both the cup and the glass very thoroughly.
Now it's arcing even more. In the dark, you can see the dance of sparks right along the edge of the aquadag.
What now? Dielectric grease, I'm guessing? Where can I pick up something like that locally?
