Hey all!
Well, it feels somewhat strange. I've been making a game over some
time, and now it's time for it to go live You can download it here:
http://www.1080p.dk/hollowpoint.html
On this and other sites I've seen many threads about PC games suitable
for cabinets, but I always thought it was a little silly, since they weren't
seamless.
So, I made this small simple game(which was difficult enough) with
the intent of running it on a windows-based cabinet with a
horizontal monitor. Controls are MAME standard buttons/keys,
using 8-way joystick and two buttons.
It's 'optimized' for 320x240 and 640x480
It's only two-player...no AI. Playing this on a keyboard will be
impossible, unless you're a very special person
It works great on a cabinet or IPAC(or the like)
based joystick for the PC(I built an IPAC and controls into an
old winebox for this project
So, I hope someone will try it. It's not meant as a shameless plug,
but someone might get some laughs out of it.
By the way, this post has been posted in many different forums. Sorry
if you have to see it several times!
Thanks,
Nicholas
