First time I have ever actually played the thing without being preoccupied with how ratty it looked. Not the highest score in the world, but highest for me since I owned it, and it happened right after my brother hit 84,000 and walked away from the machine all smug and shit. Perfect timing. I then walked over to Satan's Hollow and hit 50,000. Highest on that game for me. My dry spell is over. Time to pull the video camera from the foot of my bed and start shooting for some TG high scores. Restoration has set me free.

I think my HS was 13x,xxx. 100K on MB is a great score, IMO. Its a tough game, specially on TG settings.

I don't play often at all, but I put up 80 something on Wade's machine at a tourney. Unfortunately, another guy was there who put up like 100k. DAMMIT!

My wife routinely scores 50k and higher.

I really need to start picking up HS save kits for these damned machines. Sucks when you have to repeatedly hit those good scores every time you turn the machines on to look cool for your friends.

I bet the machine looks better than you can play it, keep workin buddy ;) Let us know when you break the 150,000 mark.

And since when do you post a thread about a restored machine without posting pics of said machine?

Seriously? There are pics plastered everywhere on this site about said machine.

Maybe he hasn't seen it? Here you go:

Great work as always, Phetishboy.

I dont care what anyone says about Blkdog7. YOU are the Nintendo master.

Nice Score ! What till you get to the icicles , the game gets crazy !

But Phet never misses an opportunity to showcase his accomplishments. Which was quickly proven before I could even respond.

Good work though I'm jealous that you have such a nice example to practice on.

Amen, bro! I have one on every one of my Nintys. Makes a big difference and the games more enjoyable. But, it also allows people to put scores on your machines that you can never remove!!!

Mark Spaeth also put about 248k on MB. :(

That's a big blinking sign for me NOT to put hi score kits on games. I don't want people to walk away from my games feeling like they suck because some random person put up a freak number. I want them to be convinced they are awesome...that way I get the opportunity to knock them down to size. :D

BTW, there was a Ms. Pac Galaga at our beach condo last week. The high score was like 999,999. Yet another reason why hi score save is pointless.

I was just trying to tell Jow that you never painted yours. I see I was right. Let's put them side by side for color comp.

Yes, I never painted my MB. It's the original orange sides and they are pretty damn near perfect. Nice semi-gloss sheen too. I only touched up the black in the front and left most of the original finish there too.

Your color is pretty much the same. Nice work!
