High speed

Yes I bought plastics from Marco's. Also bought new displays from them too! Waiting on play field to come. Struggling to find someone to clearcote. Also debating putting led in while tore apart!

Yes do the LED's for sure, high speed has alot of hard to get to places where light bulbs go so thats one reason I did leds. G.I. i just have reg.#47. maybe the place you got your playfield can do it or get it done for u, should ask. Which displays did you get?
 
Yes. Just make sure you read instruction about where red line on cable goes. Besides that 15 minutes top! Very easy. Wish the play field was gonna be that easy. This will be my first one. Gotta learn somewhere!!!

I hear ya. i never done a swap either but take your time and take pictures so you know where things go, have someone help you out. My displays are still bright and clear, its my ball and credit display thats a bit fuzzy, but it been like this since i owned it for the last 3 years. Sound like your gonna have a rweal nice High Speed when your done, you will have to post up pictures of the progress. take care.
 
hey real quick did you have to buy the extra ribbon cable they mention? or dont we need it? there out of stock till May too.

No , I didnt have to buy other cables. as long as yours have the old cables you should be fine!

Your really pimping the machine, so don't stop short.

I'd like to see pictures and/or a video tour of your machine!!
I just got a HS and have the MPU out for repair due to acid damage right now (the playfield pic is the spare one that came with mine).
I'm also looking at LED's and possibly a LED police light bar on the top as mine is missing the red dome anyway.
 
Does anyone have pictures of their High Speed with the LED lights? I wanted to see what it looked like? I'm thinking myself to add some to my pin but wanted to see the difference.
