On my older of two High Speeds, I have a question about a resistor for what I believe to control bulbs/lamps,

In the picture (borrowed pic) under the big capacitor is a diode and resistor. My resistor is so fried that the colored rings are burnt off and I cannot figure out it's resistance.

Can some let me know what type of resistor it is? How/why is this different from my newer high speed?

What do you mean by your older High speed and newer your high speed? 1986 is when it came out, unless there was a l.e. edition i'am unaware of? i have a high speed, check your manual if you dont have one let me know.

Of the two I have, one has a higher serial number than the other. ROM's a are lower rev on the lower serial number too.

The pic in my first is how the lower serial HS looks, my high serial HS does not have the same components.

The board pictured works with a 50V relay which is just outside of the pic. Anyone able to help with the resistor that is under the pictured capacitor?

thats the rating of a capacitor not a resistor..... might be why you didn't get an answer... everyone saw a capacitor not a resistor.
