Some more w/illuminated playfield with LED's in the inserts. Look at the white insert with LED's.

These photos show the wear. Some flaking on backglass, I have sealed the backglass to prevent further wear with triple thick by Krylon, and put 47 bulbs in place of the 44's that were in there when I bought it. Some PF wear, and the sides of the head needs the paint re-done

My daughter in the one pic GOES CRAZY for this machine when it's on, she likes the flashing lights.

Nice looking HS!

By the way, what's the story on that Pirates pin in the background? Where'd you get it?

(It looks like a toy pin, but perhaps, not as cheap as your typical toy pin.)

and some more, If you notice the dome lense topper is the wrong lense,"Quattrohead" (KLOV member) is hooking me up on his old one that he is mailing me, but look how smaller and narrow that thing is. Also what is the hole next to the lense, what is that for? This is why I like to replace the plug on the cord if you look at that specific pic you'll see the ugly plug I want to replace.

It it made by a company called "Zizzle" they have the Pirates theme and a Marvel Heroes theme, although different theme the same playfield though. That was the first pin I got before HS but ya its on the smaller scale, it has solenoid pop bumpers and slingshots, LED lights under the inserts and digital LED score display, and has some cool speech it in as you play. Craigslist for $60, I let the smaller kids have at it when company is over. Do a search for "Zizzle pinball" for more info if you like.

That hole is for the clip that holds the beacon lens I think. I have a plate on my hsII.

Thanks Tomdotcom, thats exactly what my manual is showing me. Obviously it has the wrong lense, I'am glad a fellow member here is sending me the right dome lense.

Agreed. It's nicer than I was expecting.

Thanks. One question, does the HS have a lock to the backbox? I can't see where one is or if there was one at all ever. I dont see any patch-up marks indicating a cover-up. Where would this lock be present? Right now I can simply pull the backglass out, and pull up on the latch to open-up to the boards, that easy. Thanks

They're normally on the front of the backbox on top. Look at the top of the translite right in the middle.

Ya I looked all over the front, middle, on the sides, on top, and nothing indicates there ever was one. I'am not worried about it really but thought I'd ask if there was suppose to be one there because there is not any indication there ever was. Thanks

That is a very nice High Speed! I have played this game a few times and it is a lot of fun; so have fun enjoying it! :)
