Well, I got a chance to spend some time on this yesterday. The acid damage was worse than It looked once I cleaned the board. But the traces appear to be intact and the backside of the board is pristine.
I removed the battery holder and installed a lithium cell. Went through and repaired a few wiring issues and checked fuses.
Turned the machine on and GI works, some coils fired and all voltages from the PS were correct.
The CPU does not boot, the numeric display stays blank or an "8" appears sometimes.
"8" = Blanking Circuit is working correctly (displayed during memory chip test only).
Pressing the sound test brings up a siren sound, but that's it.
The board is a system 11 (not A,B, or C) CPU with the single diagnostic display.
Any advice on how to proceed?
