I thinking to make some mod of the two ramps. The mod will be with leds on the ramp(the leds will look from the uppers side of the rails to down-I will shout it in the pictures what I mean).Of course the work will be much longer because the ready led strips are too wide and will be too ugly when they are agglutinate on the ramps-the strip will stick out.So I will stick every led by led manualy on the rails.I will make some demo of this and will post pictures tomorrow. After finishing with the leds,I think to program PIC microcontroler with functiion when the ball go trought the begining of the ramps to make leds flash until the ball drop to the hole.
Thinking about to slow down a little the light power too
I'm wonder and for the colou of the leds.I think red or blue. The test will be with the blue, but I think the red will be good too.
I compare the leds between this that the blue are cops second colour adn with the red will look nice and colourful, but the red is the original colour of the pinball and everything in red will be nice too

And the final the two little ramps after the long in upper side.I think the colour to be green(because the ball come out from the grass and bushes:).

Of couse if someone have a good idea can tell it

Here is the begining:

LED 3528 smd and Resistors R181:

PSU:

Kynar wire:

I use it to solder LEDs together. It's very tiny and easy to solder

Fuse holder+1A Fuse:

Use it to protect the circuit

Soldering station with temperature control:

The solder Torch is 8W and tiny. This make work more easy

LEDs mounted:

I use termo isolation(the black one from the Tools picture) to isolate LEDs and resistor from the metal rails

In working position:

Connections:

First test on constant light(must be slow down I think two times):

Very interested in the final product. I love the originality and creativity of the people here.

I am guessing one side is red, and the other is blue?

Great work!

Woah, that's totally not what I had in mind when you described it in the first post. It's a million times better than what I pictured, lol!

Man..that just gives all kinds of ideas, lol. I've gotta get me one of those Pinscore power boards for Shuttle....supposedly they have extra hookups to support modding if I remember right. :)

I found the solution how to low down the light of the LEDS(this is for the BLUE leds, for the green I will test it today)
When I place resisotr 15kOmh-very low light
resistor 9kOmh-medium light
resistor 6kOmh-strong light

I will now place and the other LEDS for the other three ramps, and after that I will replace the ramps on there places, and find the wat how the wires will go through the playfield

Tonight I create my custom microswitches for the two ramps-idea for this come from Swords of Fury pinball.I will post pictures tomorrow.I'm tired now

Some pics

Buy two little microswitches

Cut one of the legs from the one capacitator:

and solder it to build long shoulder:

After that I cut some aluminium piece, dril some holes and make a form to make this:

Put the microswitche and aluminium piece together:

And mounted on the ramps

For final product I think to use shiny metal pieces

Those are some awesome mods. I might have to do some of those when I finally get around to really working on mine. BTW where do you plan on putting the police cars?
