I haven't seen much posted on the subject and was wondering what everyone uses for their three-digit high score entry initials and if there was any specific reason or interesting stories behind why.
I assume most people just use their actual name initials, but there must be many that don't too. For example, Billy Mitchell uses USA because he's so patriotic. I'm sure there's also some of you that used vulgar and/or what you thought were "funny" initials at the time when you first started playing way back in the 80s? Perhaps a combination of initials that would spell out something specific when you got the top 2 or 3 scores? Have you always used the same initials from day one? do you still use it? or have you changed/modified it over time? perhaps you came across someone else using the same initials? or perhaps you just got bored with it?
Mine is: DAY
Reason: Pretty straightforward reason, but D is the initial of my first name and Y is the initial of my last name. My parents chose not to give me a middle name. So, since the letter A usually comes up as the default, I decided to use it and have my high score initials spell a real word. I've thought about using a blank space for my middle initial, but old habits die hard.
Post your high score entry initials, reason(s) why and story if you got one.
