High School Graduation Party - Gameroom Photos

My Star Wars is getting played!!! Sweet. I kinda wish I still had it, but I know it's in a good home now. Still looks like it's working flawlessly.

It has been working perfect since the day it left your abode almost 2 years ago. Now that is a sale everyone hopes for when buying 30 year old equipment.

Imagine that kids surprise when he thought he was going to any old graduation party to find that Star Wars there. That made his weekend. I liked the first Star Wars picture I posted the best, as it kind of looked like a picture taken right out of an arcade flyer, minus the bar and other games around it. However, I took other photos as well. So I'll post them here for you Phet for your viewing pleasure.

I must say though, I don't ever remember getting a hug when I got a Game Over, but I did get a picture of him entering his initials.

Nice to see an arcade getting worked, even if no quarters were being used. =P

Just wondering, which machines got the most action, and which ones got the least? That you noticed anyway, I'm sure it was a wild and crazy time.

I did have quarters on the candy machines if that helped.

Most action:
Star Wars
Terminator 2
Golden Tee Fore 2005
Baby Pacman
Megatouch 2005 Jade 2
* All driving games (Total of 8 of them)

Medium action:
Hogans Alley
Ms Pacman
Galaga
Spy Hunter
Paperboy
Super Mario Bros
Rampage
STUN Runner
Crystal Castles

Little action:
All the rest

I don't recall the Williams games getting any play. That's Robotron, Sinistar and Joust. Also, DK, DK3 and DKJr didn't get any play. Blasphemy I'll tell ya.

Your Star Wars.... you do remember where it originally came from now, but I digress.

Glad to see it is still rocking and rollin'

It's good to see the younger generation enjoying the arcade games of our youth. I miss arcades so bad. They were the holy grail when I was a kid and I looked forward all week to having my mom drop my best friend and I off at the local Aladdin's Castle!

Your game room is awesome and brings back the spirit of the old days when arcades were king!

Thanks for sharing!

Real nice setup you have there. Thats about the closest those kids will ever get to seeing what arcades were like BITD. And congrats to the grads.

What ???

Those kids don't DESERVE to graduate if they don't know what the "Classics" are !!!

Then again, these games were already "old school" when these kids were BORN !
