I've been poking around here again lately after taking a couple of years away from the hobby. I figured that I'd post and make it official. I'm not looking to be in this anywhere near the extent that I was before, just as a small hobby now - Especially after I had taken 5 truckloads full of parts to the dump and given away everything else that I had when I decided to step away.
Anyhow, I'll be poking around here again when I get time. I have finally begun the full restoration of my Tron that I planned on doing 4 years ago. Last week, I pulled it from my basement and am plugging away at that. I'll try to get some current gameroom pics and get them up and posted. Everything is [pretty much the way it was when I left it a couple of years ago.

Hey Brian good to see you back again, has it been that long?... By the way you took parts to the dump and didnt give me a call? LOL anyway WB.

Glad your back. I bought a Golden Tee 2005 kit from you a long time ago (for a screaming deal by the way), and it arrived damaged, and I could never get anything to work. I tried posting here, PM'ing you, but never got a response. Not that anything matters now cause I'm sure you don't care (since nothing was ever responded to and this is going on a year now), but I figured I would letcha know.

Hey Brian, nice to see you stick your head in and say hi! I was talking about all the old arch rivals we used to have that never are around, most of the newbs had never heard of the legendary B-Kon!! Hope things are going well and surviving fine... same old shit around here!

Hey Brian, How's the Pepper II holding up? Funny, but I've been looking for another one since it left my nest. Hope the basement is looking good! Great to hear from ya!

Man, I'm trying to learn the new way of posting here. It's been at least a year and a half for sure since I left. The whole site has changed! I'm having trouble posting a simple response on my own thread!
I wish that I would have known about the Golden tee problem. It worked when it shipped. I had a ton of extra parts for those boards: chips, securety chips, hardrives, kits, I had everything.
Shawn, the Pepper 2 is still in my arcade and isn't going anywhere. Jamie, I'll call you this week.
Yep, its been a while. It's at least a year and a half since I cleaned my workshop and did my dump runs. Chad and Jamie ended up with all of my PCB's, marquees, and other stuff. Billybob ended up with about 50 control panels. the dump got everything else. Man, I really wish that I'd have kept the Midway coin doors! I needed one yesterday for my Tron that I started restoring.

Hey Russ! I just looked at your footer. Man, your collection has really grown since I was here! That's impressive! Wow!

Welcome back BK, post pics of that Tron.

Well, it's not much to look at right now. Actually, it's pretty boring. I dis-assembled the machine completely. I took all metal to the powdercoater, sprayed the inside, top, back and doors black, applied new laminate on the sides and front, sandblasted the metal grates from the back doors to get them to shine again, applied the inner art and CPO, and put the control panel back together. I still have a long way to go. I have tpo recap and rejuvinate the monitor, put the rest of the art on, and reassemble it. I had all of the artwork here from when I bought it 3 years ago. Like I said, kinda boring, but here's where it stands:

Hey Chris, I'm back, but definately not to the extent that I was. Luckily, I emptied my storage and sold about 50 machines before this bad economy hit. This is only a SMALL hobby now.

Nice Gyruss.

Want one of those.

I just picked that up from Troy Akey. I wanted to swap somthing new in my arcade and that's going in the spot that my Circus Charlie was in. It was an easy decision. It will slide right in to my arcade with no work at all. He did the sides and put a new CPO on. No work at all!

Outstanding.

I must be weird as a collector.

I look at a nice Tron and think "eh."

I look at a nice Gyruss and I'm all "Hubba, hubba !!"
