Hi. I have been a fan of videogames since my father would give me quarters to play pong when out for dinner.

Omega Race and 720 and Donkey Kong Jr were some of my favorites.

I have some outbuildings, so I have been buying games with issues and learning to repair them. I have about 20 now, with my oldest being a shuffle bowler and my newest is prob Shooting Sports USA.

I have been watching all of the This Old Pinball DVDs to get myself ready to tackle my electromechanical games. I think those games will always be a bit more of favorites than video games.

I have a sheet metal fabrication shop for my day job. Also have a small machine shop for rebuilding old Harley's. I have a small herd of mini cattle, alpaca, llamas, goats, and a mini horse. I enjoy handloading for old guns and shooting them in my back yard.

I'll probably be researching pinball and monitor repair and arcade repair threads.

Thanks, Bob

Hi Bob, welcome to KLOV!

Lots of great info here to tackle your projects... Anything that isn't covered in a previous thread, feel free to ask. Check out the Illinois thread too; that one has IL locals. Enjoy!

Welcome to KLOV! If you have any questions once you dive into the wonderful world of EMs (electro-mechanicals) feel free to PM me! They're my specialty. :D

Hey Bob! Yeah, where in IL? There are several of us in McHenry county with farm animals, pinball and various wood and metal working shops. :001_scool:

And you should come to the Chicagoland luncheon in late Dec to meet more people. There are a lot of helpful people here (and a few trolls).

Thanks guys. I'm more NW actually. By Rockford....Rockton..Machesney Park

Working on a Stargate tonight. Dead monitor. But it seems like I don't have one of the voltages on the board. The top of the three LEDs is not lit....and getting a 125error code and then a 137

Thanks for the offers
