Hi from Cambridge, MA

Sprinkles are for winners!

Those arcade sticks are nice. I like the wood grain especially. I grew up in the arcades. Back in the Street Fighter 2/ Mortal Kombat era. I'm currently getting a fight stick built with a Mortal Kombat 2 theme. It's oldschool and has concave buttons with a bat top joystick. Ekorz you truly seem like a master of the fight stick building craft.

Greetings from Portsmouth, NH. I'm from Dedham, MA originally, so I'm technically a Masshole at heart. ;)

Lots of good collectors in the New England area, and ways to meet up with folks face-to-face. We have a local collectors' group up here in Portsmouth every Thursday, which anyone is welcome at, if you were ever interested in making the drive up.

What do you do in Cambridge?

PS - Beautiful sticks! I'd love to see a full control panel made like that. Must feel awesome.

Thanks man. If you are going with the oldschool Happ buttons and bat top, just make sure the stick has some heft to it. One of my first builds was an SF2 style with Happ parts, and the spring is so stiff on the joystick that I couldn't keep the controller in my lap. Probably didn't help that I used a lighter wood for that one.

Thanks for the invite. That's a bit of a drive but who knows. I'm diving in this hobby pretty deep so I could see it happening.

I work at a tech startup in Boston, we build mobile mayment apps.

Never built a full panel, but in a way that would probably be easier. Less joinery! Real estate is tight so no full cabs for me just yet. Supergun plus individual controllers is much easier to find the space for.

Hey! Rhode Island here. I haven't really found many collectors in RI (how do you start..lol) aside from a guy that I got my first cabinet from. He had an entire basement turned arcade in a tenement house he owned. It was quite the sight with space themed carpet and castle themed walls..haha. Never got his contact info, and haven't seen him on CL selling anything since. Good to know there are "closer" members around!
