Hey all,
I am here to enjoy the discussions and to find help for my lone Tempest upright that currently has a problem that I'm trying to solve. I don't have the funds or the space to collect the games I played in the early 80's (Tempest, Battlezone, Red Baron, Quantum, and Gravitar) but I'd love to!

I am a HS physics teacher and into vintage audio and early electronic calculators (collection stands at over 150 from the late 60's-late 70's).

Anyway, looking for great camaraderie and assistance... and to relive the games of my past.

Glad to be here,
Tyler

Welcome! Sorry to hear about your Tempest. That's a shame, wish I could help, but not sure about those Vector monitors.

Good luck on getting some of the other games you love! A great journey that binds us all together. :)

Hey man, welcome to KLOV, I live 10 minutes south of Baltimore, going to college in Chicago. There are a ton of us in the area, so I'm sure you can get someone to help you out!

Welcome to the madness Tyler. You just missed our party on the 15th of December. Best party we have had so far, it was like being back in the arcade in the 80's. You could have had you Tempest fix then! I am just south of Baltimore, I could possibly take a look at your Tempest if you aren't too far out.

I just posted tonight about a get together for KLOV members on Feb. 9th at Crabtowne. Do a search for Crabtowne and you should be able to find it easy if you are interested in going.

I remember getting my first electronic calculator when I was about 10 or 12 and man was that cool!

Chuck
