hey it's a yellow and black Computer Space(not mine)

Just kidding...

It's weird, but three Computer Space games have come up for sale in one week, after a very long time of none being for sale. This one, a green two player and a red one. I really don't know what these are worth, but $4k seems very ambitious.

It might be the uglist Computer Space in existence that's not trashed.

I am sure the paint could be removed. It looks like it has been flaking off somewhat.

Someone should e-mail Nolan and see if there was a one-off custom paint job. Probably not but if it was this could improve the value.

It is hard to understand why anyone would paint a game to look like that, but you never know what some people think looks cool. Plus there was probably a time when this game was considered mostly worthless.

Yes, I can attest to that. It was about 1993, and I was already a collector / dealer with hundreds of games. I found a guy with a one player and two player CS in excellent condition. I bought about 75 games from him for $100-150 per game. But he wanted $250 each for the Computer Spaces and I thought, "What? for those ugly, old, worthless things? No way! $150 max!"

I have since regretted that decision. This was of course before Al Gore had invented the internet, so information about games / values / rarity was very scarce. I didn't know much about Computer Spaces.

(And yes, I did go back later and try to recover from my mistake but it was too late).
