Hey coders- Torpedo my Sea Wolf fantasy!

If anyone else wants to kick the tires before I call it done, asm and ROMs are up at:

I am thinking about getting one of the 8080 fusion boards as a backup. Would you be willing to authorize inclusion of the Seamiss ROM on that board?

@HudsonArcade

Bump

Unfortunately my machine is now booting to vertical lines. Hopefully I can fix this but having a reliable backup that could play Seamiss would be extremely comforting.

Looking forward to playing this, but the zip file on github appears to be empty. I did download the bin and split into two files for 2716s but must have done something wrong unless this is some new form or retro copy-protection.

I'll look at the ROM contents again, but thought I'd post this in case it's something obvious I missed.

Now that I see it on a screen, it make me think it's a corrupt Ms. Pac Man (TM) ROM from last year.

MSPACTM 2024

Sorry @Mojodog333.
Yes, I'm very tired and my brain is fragile.
No, I can't offer anything useful because I don't have a Sea Wolf so I can't try this myself. :(

Thanks @cwilkson

I don't think I screwed it up this time.... It looks like the bin file is split cleanly at the right place. This is a Beyond Compare shot showing the middle of the original bin file ending at the end of the first ROM.

This shows the break in the middle with the 2nd ROM on the right.

I just downloaded it and the file contains 6 bins. two of which are combined into g and h for you for the 2716. did you use 7 zip to open the 8kb zip file?

the zip file looks empty if you use windows built in zip but 7 zip opens it right up

Wow! Looks like I know how to hide things from run-of-the-mill Windows users. Just put it in a zip file in an unnamed directory.

Thanks @wugly !!!

Maybe it's because I haven't had my coffee yet, but I have I'm beginning to doubt my technical ability to pursue this hobby much further... lol I have checked this 3 times and the files in the zip file are identical to the original ROMs.

Also, I can't just paste images into the thread anymore. I need to save them and add them using the toolbar. Is this another strike against WIndows users? ;)

Looks like there are 3 branches on github. Guess I'll try the other two.

There are 2 branches, one 3 commits ahead of main and the other 7. I tried the one 7 ahead and still just get the name. Gotta hang it up for now and go make some money.

That's test mode... flip the switch and you should be fine.

You can only paste images when the editor is not in BBcode mode. Press this button and try again:

Thanks, the editor is in the right mode, it just stopped working yesterday. When I paste a pic, I get this progress bar (which I don't recall before yesterday)

Then I get this placeholder icon that disappears after posting.
