HEY CHICAGO- Anyone know the owner of RJ Alley Arcade?

Does anyone live in the greater Chicago area that knows the owner of an arcade called - RJ Alley Arcade? I found out the owners name is RENO FECHTNER. I think I found his facebook page and I messaged him but have not got a response..

I dont know if the arcade is still around but he is the one who posted the other mysterious Ms. Pacman Prototype.

I noticed he posted it back in 2007, so who knows if he even still has it. BUT this guy might know something that all of us here dont know!

IM HOPING SOMEONE HERE KNOWS HIM!

I need to get a hold of this guy.. I believe I have one of the only known Ms. Pacman Prototypes!

See for yourself- http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=200440

A lot of the Chicago guys know him. We work at the same company. I just pinged him for you.

Hi All,
Sorry Joe never got a PM from you? Just rechecked.

I am also guilty of very seldom looking at facebook..................

You would think that since we both work at hte same company and phones are our business we would talk more :)

I am here somewere. Sigh, working to much. Have not been on the group to much.

The game is sitting over at Jeffs place. He now has 2 of them. I picked the one up in the picture from a guy that lived next to an engineer that worked for Bally back in the day.

The only thing I found out about them is that they were going to put them in bars and they tried a few and it did not work out.

What questions did you have?

RJ

RJ!!! You are alive!!!

I've been hoping to hear from you, so glad that I did!

I dont know if you have seen my thread about these machines but - http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=200440

The pieces to the puzzle are starting to fit now!

I was told that mine came from a Bally employee in Chicago from BITD also! She said that there were only 9 made. That was all the info I had, so it's good to hear that the stories are lining up.

Jeff said he had 2 of them but I was skeptical to be honest, I asked and PM'd him to see pics and never got a response, but now I know. He called them "prototypes", would you agree?

Do you still happen to have any contact info on the guy you got it from? I'd love to confirm that there are only 9 in existence.

Do wee now only know about 3 then, counting mine?

Thanks so much RJ!

Oliver
