I've made 2 Bob Robert's orders now, and no little extras to speak of. I have gotten my stuff super fast, and I have no complaints. I just have to say that after reading all of the posts the last few years about how Bob will be almost psychic in giving you little menial extras you need, I am disappointed.

I guess I'm not making big enough orders I suppose. This puts me at about $100 for the month though with him.

I suppose it's just a part of the hobby experience I won't get to mark off my list...:bawling:

I just had an order delivered last week and it had a calculator thrown in. I don't think I have ever received an order without some gift in the box...

It's been a while since Bob has thrown me a true unexpected extra. As for lagniappe, he has items you can choose from depending on how much you spend on an order. Pretty sure there is a minimum amount you have to spend to qualify for lagniappe and that is the cost of the order minus shipping cost.

I have made a bunch of orders from Bob in the past and I would say about 20% of the time I wouldn't receive any goodies. I'm not sure if it's related to order size or just how it goes. I can't really complain though as some orders have come with as many as four "special" items.

I just got a $59 order from him, and there was a pocket calculator and one of those small screwdrivers with a pocket clip in there. I should have specified the lagniappe, because I could use some PCB feet, which is an option in the $50.00 To $99.00 category; but I forgot to.

BTW, for orders under $50, there is no guaranteed lagniappe, though he often throws something in anyway.

They've been anywhere from $30 to $300. There was a time (last spring) when I placed an order a week and there was always something thrown in. I have tons of PCB feet if you want any.

See, I could have used some PCB feet. I even ordered some bulbs this time, and thought "Hey, he might throw in an extra box to make my day". Nope. I felt like Ralphie on Christmas morning. Where the hell is my Red Rider dammit!!!

Was there any room in the box? He has stated before that there will be no freebies if there is no room in the box.

Start ordering from Frizz, plenty of surprises there. I am actually scared to open some of the packages he sends me.

You never know what you are going to get when you order from Frizz...

Scarily, the package in this picture arrived on my doorstep the day after New Years. I still haven't opened it. It says 'ck in the box' on the side. Looking closer, I noted that there were 2 letters scribbled out in front of the 'ck' with a sharpie. I can't quite make them out, but I am betting they were not 'J' and 'A'.

I just ordered $800 worth of stuff and got a free bag of 20-30 new leaf buttons with the nuts but no leafs.

My biggest order was $400 I got a calendar,Mardi Gras stuff,Moon Pies and a screwdriver set..I had a $80 order last week and I got a box of bulbs. When I order from bob I just ask for the lagniappe I want and I always get what I want..

I've always received Lagniappe... even with teeny tiny orders... I think my largest order was around 175 bucks... usually I order between 40-100 bucks worth of stuff at a time... I'm no big spender.

Of the 5-6 orders I made to Bob (all under $50), I only received extras once and that was during Mardi Gras time. He included a mardi gras cup filled with beads, candy, and moonpies. That was a good day. :)

fast shipping good prices and cross shipping is all the laginappe i need.

when bob decised to throw something extra in, yes its nice. However to me its just not right to ask for more...
