Hi all,

This is my first post on the forum and I figured I'd introduce myself by showing some pictures of one of the first arcades I can remember, Hersheypark's minetown arcade. I first went when I was only 1, and have been going to Hersheypark (and this great arcade) every summer since then (I'm 22 now). Enjoy these pics!

Glad to be on this forum, as I've been surfing Klov and collecting games for almost 10 years.

welcome to Klov, and thanks for the pics I see theres some classic games still there

huh, i knew damn well there was a 1942 cockpit, never saw any mention of one online. thought it must have been my faulty memory or a conversion.

Yep, they've been there for a very long time and are fairly well maintained, all things considered. I should mention that the number of games seems to steadily decrease as the years go by. They used to have a deluxe After Burner which sadly disappeared some years ago, and at least 5 more pins than they have now :(

Awesome pics dude!! I grew up going to Hersheypark too. As a matter of fact that is where I fell in love with Dragons Lair. I see one in your pics...wonder if its the same one???
Finally got my own last year.

I was thinking about making a trip up to see family this summer and take the kids to HP. Now that I know the arcade is still kickin I may make the trip.

Thanks again for the pics.

cool pix,

sorry to see that mr. do though, looks like a lock ' n' chase conversion taito cab.

looks like some of the system 1 s have vanished into oblivion since my visit about 10 years ago,

Those pics are awesome it makes me happy to see that they are still there. I may go there this year and check it out.

Cool pics! Welcome to the board.

Anyone know what the Heavy Barrel was converted from?

Wow, that's really cool to see some classics still in the mix! And that 1942 cockpit.... actually looks kind of neat.

Thanks for posting and welcome! When I went to Hershey Park a few years back I didn't have a chance to check out the arcade.

Great way to start posting, thanks for sharing the pics. A bunch of stuff I haven't seen a lot of there, Indiana Jones, Ninja Warriors (that is such a cool looking cab), Hercules, Ghostbusters, Qubert's Qubes, and some of those cockpits. I will say even as a Street Fighter fan, that conversion of what looks like a Rampage cab is pretty sad, but they more than make up for it with the other stuff. I've been wanting to go there since I was a kid, it's not too horrendously far from where I'm at now, I may need to finally make the journey one of these days.

Welcome pinwizkid-

At the link below are some shots of the park arcade that I took when I was there in 2007. It will be neat to compare the 2 and see how much the lineup has changed (if any) over the past 3 years..

Cool! Yea, it hasn't changed dramatically. I can tell you for certain that the gap in the pinball row next to Hercules used to have a Williams Grand Lizard there, which I grew very fond of over the years. They also used to a bunch of Gottliebs: Raven, Devil's Dare, Rock, and Gold Wings, all of which have disappeared over the last 10 years.

Discs of Tron is also gone. Interesting about the 1942 sitdown, it is actually a nice conversion and is a pretty good game to play in that cockpit. Too bad it wasn't working when I took these pics.
