Most of the parts have arrived to do a Moon Patrol restoration. It started as a $40 stripped cabinet bought off craigslist a year ago. A quick peal back of the woodgrain laminate exposed part of Moon Patrol's side art. Could it be saved? Let's see.

Side Two will be next...

With side one done....looking to do side two later on this week.

The cabinet belongs to the young fella on the right (my son) and he is pretty excited to finally be working on the Moon Patrol.

He paid the $40 for the cabinet out of his allowance, got the PCB for christmas & the Marquee for his birthday. (he mowed the lawn all summer for the monitor) He still owes for the harness......

Good work. Make sure he checks out my MP thread :D

I had him read your thread this morning. His response was: "Mine is way nicer" and "there is no way he will get that working"

Then near the end of the the thread he said: "Oh my gosh! Look! He got it working!"

Lookin good Erik. It's nice to see kids take on some responsibility and earn things. This will be something he'll remember for a long time.
