I've got a WG4600 that started flickering to a primarily green picture, now it seems to stay green all the time.

I tried adjusting the RGB pots on the neckboard, and red has no effect, blue has a little effect. So I figured the red C2068 transistor was the problem, replaced it, and still have the same green picture.

I thought maybe the pot was bad, or solder crack. I checked them all out with my multimeter, and they measured fine.

Trying to rule out a problem with the color card, I removed it completely, and with no input signal, still have a green screen...although....after a minute it flickered to white for a minute, then back to green. It did this randomly, primarily staying green. I tried taping the neckboard and pots again thinking cold solder joint, and just around a couple other places, and nothing seemed to set off the flickering...it would just randomly jump to white, and but stay green a majority of the time.

Any recommendations?

I think I had a tube like that. I am pretty sure its in the tube(I had a few 4600 tubes so I used a different one). I never really messed with it as back then I did not have a tube rejuvinator.

I suspect it needs to be hit with a rejuvinator. But maybe someone will have a better answer. If you need to use one, I have a bk490 and you should be local..

Definitely the tube. Could be dirty green gun or heater to cathode short or heater leakage confirm with rejuvinator.
