OK, I feel like a giant moron here, but I can't seem to make my Data East Tales From The Crypt any louder.

Have gone into Adjustments and set Volume to 100%, but it doesn't get any louder.

It's fairly soft volume - much less loud than my Who Dunnit? or Dracula.

Is there a volume POT as well somewhere?

Note that I changed the batteries and it takes every other adjustment OK - like Free Play, number of balls, etc.

Am I nuts or what?

Found it !!!

There is a HUGE Audio Pot sticking out of a metal cover on the right hand side front corner just inside the coin door.

It is LOUD AS H*LL, now.

Kudos, Tom.

It is the sh*t.

OK, Tom - here is one more - the bulb is out on the START button - how do I get to the bulb socket on this bad boy to change it out?

It's the last bulb not working on this thing - replaced all the other bad ones.

Help, please.

RM

If it's the same as williams/bally start buttons you just have to pull the start button assembly apart in the middle, and there is a bulb inside. Not sure what style DE uses for sure though. You have to pull fairly hard to get it apart...

Do you still want these slings or not? I have 2 other people I've been putting off because you asked for them. I could have had my girlfriend send them today, but it will have to wait until tomorrow now as she has gone out already..

That I'm not sure of, I'd guess it just pulls out. That's how the Williams/Bally ones work. You do have to pull pretty hard though...maybe yours is a twist, it will be obvious if it screws out though..

Payment received, they will ship today :)

Good luck with the game..

I am trying and I can't get it to budge. It won't twist, or pull straight out.

Very annoying.
