I've got a Soul Calibur 2 machine and I plugged in my multigame board and it worked. When I was done messing with it I plugged Calibur back in and the screen is blurred. The sound works though. Then I plugged in a Street Fighter 2 board and it works fine so I know the monitor is working, but for some reason Soul Calibur just wont function right. I just got a new system 246 pcb that I'm gonna try tonight, but Ive been pulling my hair out trying to figure this thing out. I've looked in the manual for the game and it mentions dip switches that change the hz of the monitor but i dont know much about it so i didnt want to start blindly trying things. Cant figure out if somehow the multigame board caused the monitor to get switched and now I cant switch it back to whatever frquency it needs to be on? Any advice would be hugely appreciated.
thanks

Did Soul Calibur 2 work before you plugged in the multi-board? I'm assuming it did. It could be a number of reasons but it sounds like a possible synch problem since the game is operating but with a blurred image. Then again it could be power. How blurred are we talking, slightly or completely indistinguishable, have you a photo?

Can you first initially rule out that it did work, before I go into a long rambling unnecessary trouble shooting mission. Could you also confirm that you didn't adjust anything on the cabinet (accidentally, unintentionally or otherwise) while you were switching the boards over? Did you just perform straight board swaps?
