I have a 15"? Quasar tube that has a RGB TV type chas on it now but I'd like to swap it out for one that I can use normaly in a cabinet. (there are no outputs other then the composite). After doing a bit of research, I think this is the same as a PANASONIC
420DCB22Q. Any suggestions as to what I can use on this?

thanks in advance.

If you're going to hack into the TV, why not identify the RGB+HV signals coming off the tuner and feed it directly from the game?

its not a TV so to say... it was pulled from a casino game, but has no where to plug into on the current TV type chas. only has an RCA type output.

How would I be able to identify them without a schematic?

That would be tough. If you cannot find one, building an RGB to composite converter would be an option. You could also try a replacement chassis from 8liner.

If you do want to proceed without a schematic, start at the neckboard and identify the RGB channels. Follow each of those to the 3 drive transistors for each color. From the collector on each, follow those back to the source. It will likely be a straight run to an IC. Clip and splice in your TTL RGB signal. Sync tracing will be fun...
