Help with Qix - 11-1111 or 11-0111 LEDs on boot.

Hey all,
I picked up a Qix with a small amount of battery damage. After installing bodge wires to fix traces, it shows nothing on screen, and gives a random LED error code each boot. Most of them are video ram errors but I think that's because the majority of codes are those. It also occasionally gives non-valid error codes.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Reseated the CPU, now I get either 11-1111 (video ram error u41) or 11-0111 (video ram error u50) replacing the ram chips didn't work, neither do any of the connections from it to neighbor rams test bad.

Any ideas?

No, I bought it off someone hoping to fix it but it appears I'm a in a little bit over my head

it's similar technology to Williams games. they used more buffers and it's 32 rams instead of 24 I think. I would have to look at schematics. it's been several years.

This always helped me when troubleshooting QIX. https://quarterarcade.com/taitos-qix-hardware-and-games on both my Qix, I ended replacing all my RAM and at least 1 ribbon cable.

huh. I get the same errors with either cpu or the crt controller removed. That seems wrong…
