Hello, Is there any kind of adapter plug I can use to take my laptop outside to my Pioneer CJ-V55 Jukebox? I Have it in a poolhouse by my pool. The cd changers are shot and the box sounds great and I want to play mp3s on it from my laptop.I dont want to convert the whole box with a kit thats over 300$. Isn`t there any type of plug I can connect from my laptop out to the amp?? For example headphone jack out from puter into amp of jukebox???

Thanks Ray

The Pioneer will accept any line level signal by simply plugging into the RCA jacks that the cd players were plugged into.

All you need is a 1/8" stereo to RCA Y adapter, still available at most any Radio Shack.

NOTE: if the front door is opened, the amp will be muted, so you won't hear any sound. The switch that controls this is in the RH latch (where the top door and bottom panels meet and latch together). You will have to rig the switch closed if you plan on running a cable out thru the front (and won't be able to latch the door) or make a hole in the back to run your cable in there, leaving the front doors latched.

Ok Heres Where I`m AT SO Far :)

I got a 1/8" stereo to RCA Y adapter AT Radio Shack and took the left and right leads from cd player 1 that goes into the amp out and ran the headphone jack from my laptop into the red and white ports into the amp from cd player 1. I have 2 cd players in this box. Ok, I started playin mp3s on my laptop and nuthin came otta the jukebox. It was dead sound. So them I punch a number in the box to play a cd and whammo my mp3s started to play. Ok so its working as long as I have a cd playing in the cd player. once the cd is done it stops and I have to punch another cd in for it to start back up. So now the problem is, is there anyway to get this to work without having to have a cd playing in the backgroung? I`m not getting any background sound from the cd player, all I`m getting is the sound from the laptop. And it sounds great. I dont see any Aux ports on this amp to use so I have to use the ports from one of the 2 cd players. So, like I asked is there anyway to get sound from the the laptop with having to have a cd playing in the jukebox?
