I just recently bought a blitz 99' Arcade and everything works fine except the picture shows some dark vertical shadows. In the picture you can count 4 of them. It doesnt interfere with the gameplay but its just one of those things you wish wasnt there. Im not sure if its fixable or what exactly is the problem. Hope you guys can help! Thanks!

looks like you could use a cap kit.
that is a sign of failing caps.

take some pics of the chassis and we can tell you what model it is.

and welcome to the forums.

Thanks for the reply and welcome! So is a cap kit expensive? Would a professional charge a lot to do such a job? I will post pics of the chassis soon!

depending on where and who you send the chassis to get repaired.
it varies on the chassis model and parts needed to do the repair.

i repair several different chassis types and stock many different parts for the one's i repair.

so get them pics up and we can get you started on the repair.

caps are a good place to cut your teeth on fixing stuff yourself. I had a WG K7500 in a Blitz 99 that had horrendous jailbars, in addition to being adjusted completely fucked. someone went full tilt with the contrast on it, probably explains why my tube is so burned out now. I eventually got it decent, needed to rejuve the tube, but it didn't hold for very long. :(

when it comes to video game monitors, never go off the numbers on the tube -- the tube is literally just a TV, it's the chassis that drives it that you want to know about. if it's a Wells-Gardner, there will be a label on the left side of it (I think) that will say like WG 2550 (U5000) or WG 2575 (K7500) for examples. if it happens to be a Neotec, it'll either be a 25E or a 2501.. best guesses lol.

if you happen to choose to go through with fixing it yourself I got a few pointers I can share with you.
