Hi folks, I'm trying to find out as much info. as I can about our Zaccaria Circus pinball machine we've had about as long as I've been alive. It's been sitting in the garage for about 2O plus years, its in great condition and I just don't know anything about it. When I put the info. into the internet search engine it brought me to this site and said it was a 1977 machine and no one in the entire data base has one, or information on one. I'm in the United States, Portland OR. and hoping that theirs someone in Portland that I might be able to contact to help me find out what it's worth and to help fix the little quirks that I'm having troubles with that keep me from playing the machine. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated, Thanks Alot.

I am sure there are a few people around you that can help. You need to find the manufacture of the pin. It seems like some of the old pins are almost the same. Just different playfields. There are websites out there that you can get parts from.

check out www.pinrepair.com
good luck and if you can... post a few pics.

Ping David Gersic on Rgp...He's the Zaccaria guru!

Here's his website....http://www.zaccaria-pinball.com/

Thanks for the site. I'll get a couple of pics together and throw them up. It might take a sec because I'm not the most computer savy person out here but I definatly will get them on the site since I'm a member now. But in the mean time Oryk Zinyo asked if this was the machine and put up some pics and hit it right on the button. Thanks again, I'm on way to figuring this machine out and get computers down a little bit.

Is it this machine?

There is a guy in Portland who goes by the title "pinball doctor" but I haven't had any experience with him.

My favorite parts source for older pins is http://www.pbresource.com/ . The owner can be a bit brash at times but he knows his stuff and has parts no one else carries.

Yep, that would be the machine. I''ll give the pinball doctor a shot and hit the web sites you told me about. Also I greatly appreciate it, I'm finally using the internet as a resoure for the thing and its working out. Slowly but surely I'll get the machine and the computer down. Thanks again, oh and you wouldn't know how much the pinball would be worth by chance?

Zaccaria Circus

J.T. I have Circus also with a few problems too. You don't happen to have a manual for it do you? I live about 30mi's north of Seattle. I was really suprized to see someone have circus too. No there's not much info out there on Zaccaria EM machines. I do have the Schematics for Circus but no manual.

you would have better luck with pin related questions in the pinball section of this forum.
with zac pins you will have even better luck with rgp group. over there, as stated, david is the undisputed zac collecter, and thus expert.

I also have this machine, and I'm looking to sell mine. ( I live in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada). I have the schematics for it but no manual.

Mine doesn't have a sound board (I heard they sounded like crap anyways - no pun intended) So a friend on mine designed a board to run a Gottlieb chime unit (as these sound the best of all chimes IMO). So now mine actually sounds like an EM machine.

If anyone's interested in buying it, give me a buzz. Or if you want a chime unit control board, I can put you in touch with my friend.

Great pin! VERY fast!
