Hi guys, I have a very specific question and I've gotten some good help here before, so I'll try with this.

I bought a 6 in 1 jamma switcher and started hooking it up to a jamma cabinet last night wherein I had an older Arcadeshop Multi-Williams board running.

Here's what's happening:

All my "regular" jamma boards with individual games work GREAT in the 6 in 1 switcher.

BUT

My multi-williams board is behaving strangely when it's in there. It's like I'm not getting a good ground or something, but only for that board when it's in the switcher.

Here's the behavior: The joysticks (I have a multi-williams set up with two joysticks) won't work unless (it seems) two of the microswitches are pressed at the same time. If I push up and to the right and then right and hold it, the control on the screen moves right. It's like in order for the controls or buttons to work I have to press them many times or together with another switch. Sounds like a grounding issue, right? Well, the board works absolutely fine when it's just on the single jamma wiring in my cab from before.

Also, I have a momentary button wired up to "coin left" that works, but I noticed in the input test that once I press that button, the coin switch stays on. I've tested the switch and wiring, and it's not connected when I release the switch, but once you hit that switch, it just constantly stays on. That's strange, too.

Is it possible that the "test", "service", and/or "coin left" are on a somehow different ground?

Also, I have another board (a 138 in 1) that works fine in my original jamma harness but does not work in the switcher. Only some of the games will load when it's in the switcher.

Is there something about those 6 in 1 switchers that will only allow you to play individual games? Maybe one of the grounds on the switcher is somehow not connected or something? It's working great for my regular jamma boards, but I'd like to play the Multi-williams and a couple other boards as well in there.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me, guys. As always klover techs rock.
