Hello everyone, I have a mad planets cabinet, and im having a hack of a problem here, the joystick rubber grommet/boot has rotted away, so now the joystick can rotate "It's not supposed to do that, the grommet holds it in place" and no longer auto centers, so when the game boots up if the joystick is continously pushing the up switch , it sometimes fails to boot. Does anyone know where i might be able to find a suitable replacement, i know the laserdisc game mach 3 uses the same joystick , but every single one of the units i have run across, the rubber centering grommet/boot is also rotting away.

Many Thanks
Rick

Mad Planets and Mach 3 have a Wico base IIRC. Do you know if it takes the standard Wico grommet or what the dimensions are of the grommet you are looking for?

it is a grommet/base that is 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" it has a metal bracket around it. The joystick holds on to the grommet with allen screws around the head of the grommet .
