help with extracting .nes files so i can burn chips for my pc10

ok sooo im getting ready to try and burn some chips for my pc-10 carts
im wanting to convert my rad racer cart over to a legend of zelda (rad racer has some pgr chip problems)

ok well i have found an app at this site

http://home.mchsi.com/~gamehacker/Playchoice10.htm

(app at bottom )
that is sposed to extract the files from . nes roms

i tried using the app
buttttttt
i end up with a .nes.gfx file that shows as 0kb
and a .nes.pgm file that is 128 kb

am i correct in thinking that this app is designed to extract the 2 seprate eprom fils needed
or am iwrong and this just extracts the file used to show the proper name on the pc 10 menu

Ok after looking at my rad racer pc10 cart it does have a chip at u1 and u2
so after extracting the pgr from the Zelda . Nes file how do I break it up 2 2 files

i figured it out
the app iwas using was setting the extract data automaticly to 8 banks 128 k (27c010) roms

what i had to do was set the app to rip the . nes file to 4 banks 64k (27c512)

now im up and running with legens of zelda in my pc 10 cab

i found a data base sheet on the site that lists what eprom chips are used to convert the games and found out that was my problem
http://playchoice.riemen.net/downloads/manuals/par_pc10_hacks.pdf

now i just need to track down the bad ram chip that i have on my main pcb causing smb to glitch out sometimes and galaga to display garbage as the game progresses
