I just replaced the outlet on the DK for the monitor and marquee with one off another DK power brick and measured the voltage and it is 109v instead of 100v.
It fluctuates between 109.1v &109.3v.
Is this too high for a Sanyo monitor.
The other lines coming out go to a switching power supply and read 105v-105.1v.
I am confused because, according to the manual, both sets of wires comming from the iso are supposed to be 100v.
I had a Tovis monitor hooked up to the same wires, that the outlet is on,and it worked fine.
It runs off 100v-120v though.

Which outlet did you replace - the one on the left or the one on the right?

If I recall properly (been a while since I've been in a DK), aren't there two outlets? Isn't the one on the left at 100v and the one on the right at 120? Or were both at 100?

There is only one outlet in the cab.
The other set of wires, blue ones,go to the power supply and have a connector for that.
Both are supposed to be 100v.

JimKirk, every Nintendo iso output I have ever measured (and it's been many) have all read 108 to 109 VAC.

I have a couple other Nintendo power iso's and they read the same.
So I should be OK to plug my Sanyo into the plug.
Thanks for the help guys.

The output of that plug is directly related to the output of your home's wall voltage. In 1980, the USA voltage was a standard of 110VAC. Now-a-days, our standard is 120VAC (mine's quite a bit higher than that). A 10 volt increase on the input side will equate to an increase on the output side.
