Help with Asteroids Deluxe

OK, I misunderstood. The light on the monitor board is OFF when in test mode, and ON in game mode. The red light on the CPU board is the one that is on in both modes. I put the switch in test mode and turned the machine on and NO beeps.

Hooray, it's fixed!!!! The problem did turn out to be a bad board. Thanks to all who helped!

I just had this same thing happen earlier today. In test mode, everything was great. Turn it off, screen is dead, spot killer on.


So I removed and reseated all the roms, and the two processors, and the earom, although I doubt that one had anything to do with it.

Fixed it!
