I recently got a non working frogger cocktail for $75 that is in great condition minus a few small parts to make it whole. when I got it home before trying to turn it on for the first time (did not even try before I bought it) I looked it over and noticed one cable was not pushed in. I pushed that in and turned it on, it worked fine. here is the problem I can not seem to get it in focus, I tried several things such as changing the brightness and focus/screen and eventually got it better but its dim if you make it brighter with the brightness nob it looses its focus and the focus is turned up as far as it will go. I also tried to trim and re soldered the focus wire with no avail. I do think it was recently capped. I know its likely to be the flyback or the tube, but wanted to see what else I could try before i try to find a rejuvenator (also thought about making a rejuvenator) or flyback. I think the monitor is a nanao mc 2000s. thank you for your help.

dumb question but have you cleaned the face of the tube and the bezel glass yet?

nanaos are known for tune and fly issues. obiously trya flky first unless you have acess to a rejuve to test the tube..

It is amazing how greasy, dusty, sticky old monitors can get, I did clean the glass top, Plexiglas cover, and the tube face. I also re-flowed some of the solder on the neck board.

where is a good place to get a flyback for this model?

Also I did find a local selling a tube rejuvenator for $30 its an older one (he said it was a bk 460 but I think it must be a 465) but it works and would like one eventually anyway.

hmm the video bias pot seems to be missing? what would that do to the screen? here are some pictures it looks like one was never installed so it might not mater but I have never needed to mess around with bias pots before. it should be installed just to the left of the RGB wire plug in the first picture the shadow actually goes though it.

found some photos on a site and they are labled as KZ-20EN or KZ-20ES and just found out they are the same thing as the other nanao monitor number, wish these were better labeled.

well got a b&k 467 today, never used one after reading the directions and trying it, my blue shorted out so I did it again and got it back, I think I did it right now the colors do look better but the monitor is still blurry so I guess I will need a new flyback, Anyone know what one this uses and were a good place to get a good deal on one is.

this is a mc-2030s monitor, anyway could this be an issue with the B+ needing adjustment? where is the best place to test the B+ on the mc-2000s monitors?

I think there are flys available for the 2030 but not for the 2000. I saw someplace that claimed they had flys for it but it was like $130 each. Also, replacement chassis arent available for these because of the odd tube.
