Any of you three wheeler guys. I have a older Repro War Eagle that was working perfectly till I oiled it. Now it pays off on weird combinations, not by the award card. I sprayed the pay slides with degreaser several times and blew it out with compressor. Still pays off weird. Can anyone help?
Thanks

Thanks Ken, obviously this form nor the one you put a link to above is for old mech slots. Sorry to take up space on this forum.

Old mechanical slots are on that forum:

You must not have gone through the forum list.

There's also this forum:

"The Owner's Pictorial Guide to the Mills Slot" is _THE_ bible of Mills slot machine repair. I strongly suggest buying a copy. Granted, it's out of stock at the publisher right now, but they do show up on ebay.

Some slot repair info is here to download, but be advised many are very large (50mb) files so have a high speed internet connection:

Thanks Ken, found where I needed to be.

If you go to youtube and find the channel for "VintageSlots", you'll find repair walkthrough for many Mills slots....

If it's paying on weird reel combinations it's not the slides. It sound like there was a loose hub and you knocked one of the reels out of adjustment. On the payout disc line up all the holes closest to the center and let the payout finger go through. You should see a bar lined up on all three reels. If not adjust the reel that is out of position and tighten the hub.

Thanks so much and out of allignment they were. Realligned reels and back in business. Thanks for the assistance!

Mills War Eagle

There may be as many as 3 problems. First is the vertical pay fingers are improperly adjusted. 2. The reel bundle may have come loose and shifted which would act the same as having the vertical pay fingers having adjustment problems. 3. The 4th click which lock the master slide in place during the cycle may not be engaging and may pay a random amount generally the same as the last normal win paid. These are the 3 most common problems for the Silent Series machines.
