Help: What is the deal with Nintendo T-Molding????

It doesn't look off-set to me. I think the lighting is throwing everyone off.

I order some Nintendo T-Molding from T-Molding.com years ago after I confirmed that it was flat. That turned out to be false and I still have it in a box.
