Yes, the EZY is a (factory) modified EZV to run on 120VAC. The cap kit is a little different...

And I know the WG4915 is a medium resolution 4900 series.

I just came upon this thread, because I wanted to discuss the fact that my buddys
super sprint has a wells gardner k4931 monitor in it.

I am not the monitor expert. Is this a standard resolution monitor?
Little doubt in my mind it's a k4931. It states this in the exact place and
the exact way every other wells monitor I have seen lists the type.

I was looking at it and recognized the monitor very quickly because of my 6 or 7 cap kits, 5 have been k4900's.
The difference was that there were a couple of caps in an odd place on the upper right hand side of the chassis, that no other k4900 I have worked on has had.

Would a standard res monitor even show a clear picture in a med res game?

I guess that is what I am eluding to.

I wish I had my camera there so I could take a picture, though I am certain some of the more experienced people here are familiar with this monitor.

Best way I can describe it off memory is:
It looked like a k4900, but it had an extra little tiny pcb or 2 maybe with caps coming off of them near the upper left of the chassis.
My memory is foggy now, so I don't trust it exactly, but it's a relatively good description.

Monitor newb here.. but WG did make Medium res monitors within their standard res series. If I recall correctly, the 4900 series did have a medium resolution in that series.

I've seen K4900 and K7000 medium res chassis. They look identical to their standard resolution brothers except they usually have a couple extra components (and I'm sure some of the similarly populated components are of different values, but don't quote me on that one).

I emailed bob last night and he replied today confirming what some of you are saying.

It's a medium resolution monitor.

he said a standard k4900 cap kit will do for repairing it.
