Hello,
I have 2 arcade machines with no switching power supplies. They are both Jamma wired. Sometimes I like to change games inside so I use adapters. I have trouble with some games (especially the old ones) tough. I think it might be power issue. Is it a good idea to fit switching power supplies in both of my machines? Should i take the one with 110W output and -5V or 130W, no -5V but with 24V? Thanks.

Some gameboards are power hungry energy hogs while others hardly use anything at all. Some gameboards also use a "-5 volts" while others do not.

You will want a power supply that outputs +5, +12, and -5 volts. It will need some "headroom" on the +5 volt line for the times you use an energy hog. So the +5 volt line should be rated at 15 amps.
