well i was just cleaning the tube on my super pac when my knee touched the coin door i got shocked. the game was on. static from the tube shocked my knee it started a game with no credits by it's self? now when you put a credit on the game it starts by it's self? no buttons are stuck. i think i shorted something out when the static shocked my knee. thanks for any help!

you got a ground plug on that cord?

have you tried just unplugging it , give it a rest, and replug and try again?

better check your grounds too... to the monitor, coin door, cp, etc....

thanks for the tips. the cord has a ground and all the original ground straps are connected. i turned it off for a little while but it was doing the same thing. i removed the ground strap from the game board and it seems to be working now. it's just strange thet the static shock would start a game without a credit? thanks again for the ideas!!

the way you posted, i assume no static hit the boardset, correct? that being said, check the start button switches and wiring going to said switches, for the possibility one got hit or stuck closed causing your issue.

well i just looked at it again, it's still doing it. i can unplug the control panel and it still does it. when the static discharged it went thru the coin door to the ground strap to the power block and back up the ground strap to the board. now the sound is starting to mess up. i think it may have shorted a ram chip? i remimber reading a post where a guy toched his coin door got a shock and then his game did kind of the same thing? when i go into test mode it says all ram and roms test ok? any help would be great! thanks again!
