I was able to twist the pot and break the epoxy. I marked the position before I did and turned it back. I also made my own clip that holds the flyback to the tube out of sheet metal, just like the original. The monitor works now. But now the board shuts off after a being on a few minutes. I think it is overheating. There is a red led on the board that turns on when it shuts off. I need to take the board out and check it out.
