Help Sanyo Z2AW

The monitor is plugged into the socket within the cabinet with the light fixture as well. The screen burn is PC10. So what should I be looking for with the ground from the monitor? I'm slightly confused about that. Got a pic?

nothing Sanyo in my stable so no pics.

PC10, I see it now. :) DUH!

If I recall right pins 4 and 5 are signal ground from the game board to the monitor. If you pull the connector off of the monitor and probe pins 1, 2 and 3 to 4 or 5 doe DC voltage you should get some sort of steady voltage around 1 to 2volts (it will be moving ever so slightly). If you basically get nothing there then your ground signal is broken from the game board to that connection. Could be the game board, could be the harness.

If its there then the traces on the monitor from pins 4 and 5 of that connector could be blown open.

This happens when some one plugs the monitor into a wall outlet and not the socket in the game. That socket MUST be wired to an isolation transformer otherwise the monitor will get damaged or the board set will.

Hmm. Ok. I'll try that and I'll also use my spare harness to test with from my MB game. Here's to hoping it's the harness. If not, is the monitor beyond repairable at that point?

whatever is broken should be repairable.

Take a pic of the bottom of your cab and post it would ya. Try to include the wires going into that receptacle block in the bottom of the game.
