Hi everyone.
Well I finally got a width coil tool and guess what, there is no adjustment in the coil. I can turn it about 2 full turns but the screen does not change. There is about 1 inch of extra space on both sides and I would like to fill it. So the stupid question is; Is the width coil bad or could it be something else? Where is the best place to get a width coil?
Thanks to all who have helped me in the past! I appreciate it!

the coil will not do much as far as adjustment is concerned.

if you want to see it do it's range of adjustment, then screw it all the way down and then all the way almost out.

watch the pic as you do this you will see very little change in the pic.

that is just how it is in any monitor.

there are some of the sanyo's that do what yours is doing and that is just the way it is.

you can probably change it if you change the width cap.
i do not know witch is the width cap on a sanyo.

i have sanyo's that look like that and some that don't.
i just switch them around so that if i need the screen filled out with some games it does and the others i live with the way it looks.

Peace

The pitcures on the old Nintedn games really aren't supposed to take up the whole screen anyway. Every time I've seen one with the picture all stretched out to fill the entire screen the aspect ratio is off, and they look bad.

The cool thing about the old Nintendo games is that if you set your monitor right, the black space around the main picture will blend into the blackness inside the cab and it will look like the image is "floating" inside the cab. Stretching the picture out to the extreme ruins that illusion.
