HELP! Sanyo 20 constant HV shutdown!!! nothing helps!

I should note that the game board is fine! I hooked it up to a lcd to test it (i inverted the colors on my phone) as i thought maybe the video out went bad or something but it is working great.

Take a toothbrush and some 91% alchohol and clean that thing up :) there's flux all over the place

That picture is after scrubbing it with alcohol lol that stuff is hard as a rock. Scrubbing too hard takes the green right off the circut board lol. Did someone actually coat this thing with glue?

no that is all the flux residue on it. i personally put mine in the dishwasher when like that and it takes it off completely, but i have a dedicated dishwasher for this and i personally wouldn't do my dishes i eat off of in the same one.

BTW: some of the monitor chassis pictures on my site were WAY worse than yours and they have all been run through the dishwasher and would be total spotless if i were to take a couple minutes when they first come out of the dishwasher but you will see they are way better than 99% of the filthy chassis you see pictures of on here since very few people clean their chassis and tubes.

thank you for that. i run about 99% of all orders ship the same day and i work very hard to maintain that so there isn't delays getting people's games back up and going.

Thank you everyone for the advice. I found someone who will sell me a replacement chassis for a good price. Thenbroken one will go aside to my project bin for the time being. So im closing this thread.
