Help : Replacement connectors on Rockola 474 Jukebox

Hello all

I'm restoring a Rockola 474 jukebox right now. The problem I have is that the connectors on most control boxes are extremely dry and the break as soon as I try to remove them to service the boxes. Not very practical indeed...

I spent a few hours on DigiKey trying to figure out the AMP part number to replace those connectors. Some of them are from the MATE-N-LOK family and I found a perfect match including the proper crimps. I plan to order those along with a contact extraction tool so I can transfer the pins from the old housings to the new ones.

However I cannot locate the correct part for a few connectors. A 3-pin panel-mounted housing on the Animation Light Controller and a 21-pin on the Credit Unit. The 3-Pin as the number AMP 480758 but I cannot find anything with the part number. Any idea where I can get the proper replacement housings? If these are no longer available what you guys a doing when a connector is broken?
Thanks a lot,

Eric

Rockola used a lot of the AMP "Commercial" Mate n Lock connectors.

They also used some of the AMP "Universal" Mate n Lock connectors.

Thank you.

I will focus my research on those. The largest Mate-N-Lok connector I find listed is only 15 contacts. On the Credit Unit, this a 21 pins connector :(

Mouser and Digi-key do not stock all sizes of AMP connectors. Always best to poke around on TYCO/AMP website and look at what's made today.
