I used the power cord from a u-3000 ( on the left below ) on a D9200 ( the right below )

As you can see, the ground is on the bottom for the u-3000 and the middle for the D9200 ! why this is not standard is weird but I guess I should have checked prior to power on.

it went "pjjjjttt" and turned off ... and won't power back on.

Anyone smarter than me can't point me to what could now be the issue? (schematics here) what did I break? (it ain't the fuse)

edit: in effect I put 120volt to all ground points! did I just fried everything?!

thank you :(

How? They're two entirely different connectors.

Yep. AC doesn't (usually) care. There are some weird cases when it does.

Was the power from an ISO? If it wasn't you may have overpowered it if it needed to be from an ISO.

Generally, you'll see something (like a cap that blew it's guts out, or a resistor which became an incandescent lamp for a few seconds). Otherwise, start tracing power with your ohm meter from the first pin to the next connection, and continue.

No iso needed on these chassis (but it would have been nice i guess)

There is nothing visual so i'll start tracing :( thanks

Well i tried another d9200 board from a 27 inch, saw that it worked but had issues, and didn't really want to fix these issues but wanted the 39 inch to work darn it!! So i decided to give the original another chance, put it back in and tadam

So maybe i'm dumb or something but i'm happy!!
