Hi all,
Hoping someone may be able to give me a new direction to go, or has seen and fixed this before. The displays strobe as seen in the vid here, never lighting all segments at the same time.
I finally got around to doing the GPE display HV kit and have the same results.
Any thoughts?

Yep, did the entire kit transistors and all, and got the exact same symptoms as before the rebuild.

I found the problem though, re-checked my voltages and had +90V, but only -52V going to the display board. Swapped C1 and C3 (not in the rebuild kit), and the problem swapped polarities. Sooo, now I'm on the hunt for a source for 100Mfd 150V axial caps.

Ahhhhh, good find. Ed has those in stock at GPE at $2.00 each...... well, almost. He has 100uf 160v's which work fine.

Perfect!
I knew I was missing a site in my searches, no idea how I missed his, especially since I've ordered 3x in the past 2 weeks from him :)
