OK I have contacted Doc at bigballbowler.com via email and phone several times . No answer or return calls, emails. Not sure what is going on with him.

What I am looking for is a pin reset motor for a United Clover 1952 shuffleboard.
The motor makes a partial revolution with the bar connected and or disconnected, gets stuck. I know it to be in the gear case. I call Pinball Resource and Steve said he has gears, but the repair would be a 50% chance. Steve only has certain gears.

Here are the secs for the motor:
24 rpm, part #5670, 33, UMC.

Gear box is enclosed, and riveted.

Any help much appreciated!!

Did you put a meter on the motor during the revolution to make sure power wasn't cut off in the middle by the relay?

If it also cuts out when the gears aren't connected wouldn't that point to the motor itself or what I mentioned above?

No, the motor does not cut off. sits there trying to move . When you give it a little help, it then completes the revolution, regardless if the arm to the reset is connected or not......

I did get in touch with Doc today, but no dice on the motor. If anyone has one, or knows of a remanufactured one, let me know.

Thank you.

Got some markings on the motor. ie. voltage rpm. I can check my stack of motors for bowlers...

Have you looked closely at all the gears ? Perhaps one got hit with a screw driver and one of the teeth has a burr on it, May be able to just file it down.

If you think the motor is bad and you're having trouble finding a replacement try and see if you can find someone to rewind it for you.
