Help I just picked up another Ms. Pacman not working, Found a bad chip with a rusted leg, replaced it and she fired up. Anyway this brings me to my new problem - I now have a Ms. Pacman the Electrocution-er . If I touch anything metal including the screws in the control panel, coin door, especially the on / off, I get shocked. I compared it to my other Ms. Pac and I do not see anything different, any idea of something I might try to get it to ground, Let me know. Bart

Check the ground pin on the electrical plug. If it is missing, replace the plug. If it is there, check for continuity to the ground strap inside the cabinet. In the case of Ms Pacman that is the wide yellow cable running everywhere. If that looks good, then check the continuity between the control panel and the ground pin on the power cord.

You will find one or more of these are not working.

BINGO!

The ground pin is hooked to everything metal - coin door, control panel, etc... through that big flat yellow cable.

If the ground pin is there and connected then check the outlet to see if the hot/neutral are swapped. That'll cause shocking issues too.

The Winner is Channelmanic - The hot neutral were swapped on the the power cord - However I think Ms. Pac would have liked if I would have used Riptor's Suggestion. Thank You all for your suggestions, I appreciate it. PEACE
